The poker player from Ukraine Eugene Katchalov had left poker before it became mainstream. In June 2016, he announced that he wanted to enter the IT business market, and subsequently became a co-owner of the professional esports organization Team QLASH (having StarCraft, HearthStone, and Clash Royale teams). Poker player Luca Pagano is his business partner. Together, they created one of the most promising esports organizations in Europe.
Recently Katchalov announced in his tweet that QLASH got the first official sponsor - the leading payment system in the gambling industry Skrill. Apparently, the organization decided to keep up with the trend and buy some kind of presence in the esports market.
The sponsorship agreement between the parties implies placing Skrill brand banners everywhere: at all Team QLASH offline events, as well as media platforms and live broadcasts.
