Canadian Patrick "prepstyle71" Serda broke into the 9th day of WCOOP-2017, having won a high roller tournament with $10,300 buy-in. It was a really serious step for him in his poker career.
Patrick Serda earned $468,181 for winning the high roller tournament which was a part of WCOOP-2017 from PokerStars.
By the beginning of the second day the number of participants reduced to 32, and after the departure of Ole "wizowizo" Schemion (11th place) and Canadian Ryan "newguy89" McEathron (10th place), who received $41,638, the final table was formed. By this time Serda had accumulated more than half of all the chips in the game. As we already know, the Canadian managed to convert this advantage into a victory in the tournament.
Last year in Prague Canadian player finished the high roller tournament on the second place and coming around the field of 233 players, including such poker guru as Liv Boeree, Viktor "Isildur1" Blom, Chris "Moorman1" Murman and Philipp "philbort" Gruissem. Obviously, the result was impressive. It was the first event which announced loudly about Patrick Serda.
