It’s already April and it's time to prepare for the summer. This is what the professional poker player Daniel Negreanu decided to do and told about plans for the next WSOP and other summer events.
Daniel Plans to Spend $2,000,000 on Buy-ins
Daniel is no longer a boy and said he was not going to participate in two parallel tournaments, as he used to do five years ago when he was arguing with Phil Ivey. Now his goal is to create a tight tournament schedule for the summer and strictly adhere to it.
Recent years after the completion of the WSOP Main Event, nothing interesting happened for the high rollers, but now Negreanu says that he will find something to do. Aria and Bellagio casinos join the race and will also offer expensive tournaments.
In general, Daniel planned to take part in 39 tournaments at the WSOP. Negreanu’s total budget for the World Series of Poker buy-ins will be about $1.4 million, and if you consider that he is going to play Super High Roller Bowl in May, as well as high roller tournaments in Aria for $25,000 and a bunch of limit games, this sum is approximately $2,000,000.
From June 1, ending in mid-July, Daniel will take just five days off from poker, the rest of his days are waiting for an endless tournament grind. In addition, he promises to make video blogs, where he will tell about his successes and difficult hands.
